Thinking about the lightsource and how the light is reflecting in the glass as well as observing the bounce light reflected back to the paper was interesting on this one.
If you know, what you have to look for, when rendering glossy cylinders, a still life like this is not that hard to tackle. ~ 1 hour and 30 minutes

For this one I had to use my magnifying glass :-)
observing the reflections on the different glossy surfaces was great fun :-)

This study showed me how to think about traces of usage
wonderful color :)
A nice evening with my sketchbook and a magnifying glass.
Tried some dark key with really low light here. Only the light of my display reflects off of the metal bracket.
Had a lot of fun with the reflections on this one.
A quick still life that I took my magnifying glass out for, once again.
Rendering the velvet cloth with a rough texture brush in this one was quite fun.
